A travel advisor’s planning fee covers the expertise and time spent researching, planning, and organizing your trip. This fee is separate from the cost of the actual travel components, such as flights, accommodations, and activities. The planning fee is paid directly to me, and the trip cost is paid directly to the suppliers. The planning fee includes research, recommendations, booking, detailed itinerary, double-confirmation, and follow-up. Note: All online agencies that consumers use charge a planning fee—it’s just hidden in the price of the trip. I’ll tell you upfront what my planning fee is so there are no hidden surprises.

We start with a conversation—I’ll ask about what you’re imagining, what you love to do, what makes a trip special for you. Then I do the research, find the places that fit, and present you with options. Once you decide what you love, I handle all the bookings, create a detailed itinerary, and double-confirm everything. Throughout the process, I’m available to answer questions, make adjustments, and ensure everything feels right. And once you’re traveling, I’m here if you need anything—though hopefully you won’t need to call because everything will be perfect.

No. You’ll pay the same rates as booking directly with suppliers. In fact, I often get you better rates, added perks, room upgrades, or special inclusions because of the relationships I’ve built over the years. The planning fee is separate and transparent—you’ll know exactly what it is upfront, unlike online booking sites that hide their fees in the price.
