 A travel advisor’s planning fee, is for the expertise and time spent in researching, planning and organizing a traveler's trip.  This fee is separate from the cost of the actual travel components, such as flights, accommodations, and activities.  The planning fee is paid directly to the travel consultant and the trip cost is paid directly to the suppliers. The planning fee includes but not limited to: Research, Recommendations, Booking, Detailed Itinerary, Double-Confirmation and Follow up.

NOTE:   All On-line agencies that consumers use charge a planning fee.  The planning fee is hidden in the price of the trip.  A travel advisor will advise upfront what their planning fee is so there are no hidden surprises.
